IT Committees

Several formal groups advise and inform the CIO and ITS organization on projects, policies, and strategic vision.

CIO Advisory Committees

• IT Leadership Committee (ITLC)

  Focused on central and college IT issues and planning, with representation from colleges, Extension, and the University Library.

• ITS Advisory Committee (ITSAC)

  Focused on issues of using technology in learning with representation across colleges by ISU faculty.

Campus IT Advisory Groups

• Community of Educational Technology Support (ComETS)

  ComETS is an Iowa State University community that promotes dialog and events focused on technology in learning and teaching.

• Computation Advisory Committee (CAC)

  Oversees the expenditure of the computer fee assessed to all students, and advises the Provost and ITS on instructional and research computing.

• Computer Consulting and Support Group (CCSG)

  Focused on information sharing with IT stakeholders on campus.
